Inmarsat (booth 1103, 3038 at CANSEC), a world leader in global, mobile satellite communications, is launching the new solution - which features the Hughes’ 9203 BGAN Terminal powered by Inmarsat’s award-winning ELERA (L-band) satellite network - as the world's first BGAN terminal designed for use on foot.

Babcock Canada has partnered with OVA, a technology company based in Quebec, to support OVA’s innovative ‘AI-Enabled Metaverse Campus’ project. The AI-Enabled Metaverse Campus is a virtual initiative to develop intelligent, adaptive, and interactive environments tailored to the needs of an organization. It will allow individuals without a background in programming to create custom virtual worlds for their needs.

Hexagon | NovAtel announced their GPS Anti-Jam Technology (GAJT) antennas were selected for use on Armoured Combat Support Vehicles (ACSVs) being built for the Canadian Army to protect against cyber electromagnetic activities (CEMA). The GAJT antennas will mitigate threats to positioning, navigation and timing (PNT) from CEMA.

Canadian UAVs and Textron Systems will have a joint booth (Booth 121) at CANSEC 2023. The two companies have joined forces to bid on the Royal Canadian Navy’s ISTAR UAS project – a procurement that could be worth up to $200 million. The project is currently in the RFI stage and should be going to RFP shortly.
