Tulmar Collaborates with Saab to Meet the Rising Demand for Advanced Camouflage Systems

Tulmar Safety Systems, a leading supplier of military ground vehicle systems subcomponents, has been selected by Saab AB to provide the North American production of Saab's Barracuda family of multi-spectral camouflage systems. Saab is a Swedish aerospace and defence company, founded in 1937, headquartered in Stockholm.

In order to satisfy increased customer demands, Saab has chosen to assemble its Barracuda Mobile Camouflage Systems (MCS) at Tulmar Safety Systems in Hawkesbury, Ontario.

This collaboration entails Saab providing advanced multi-spectral materials developed in Sweden, which will be customized by Tulmar for a variety of military vehicles used by global customers.

Tulmar’s engineering team will be involved in the design and implementation of future solutions.
