Viasat achieves a significant milestone of shipping 200 production units of its advanced Move Out / Jump Off (MOJO) Link 16 expeditionary tactical gateway system. Saab delivered the first GlobalEye Swing Role Surveillance System aircraft to the United Arab Emirates. GlobalEye is Saab’s new airborne early warning and control solution. It provides air, maritime and ground surveillance in a single solution. CAE announced today that it has recalled all remaining temporarily laid-off employees in Canada. Between recalls of employees providing essential services and recalls through the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy (CEWS) program, all 1,500 employees will be back on the payroll this week; the vast majority are based in Montreal and will work from home.

Montreal-based CAE has announced that it has taken measures to protect its financial position in response to the COVID-19 crisis and mitigate the impact on its employees. The measures include temporarily suspending its common share dividend and share repurchase plan, as well temporarily laying off 2,600 of its 10,500 employees and placing another 900 employees on a reduced work week.

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems and L3Harris Technologies completed the successful integration of the WESCAM MX™-20 Electro-optical/Infrared (EO/IR) system onto a GA-ASI MQ-9 Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) to provide an advanced targeting solution. A series of test flights began on Feb. 18 to demonstrate the MX-20-equipped MQ-9's ability to locate and track targets at long stand-off ranges.
