Two Japanese prefectures have placed orders for two Bell 412EPI helicopters. The orders came from the Wakayama and Ishikawa Prefectures, through Rotorcraft Services Group (RSG) and EuroTec Japan Corporation. Each Prefecture has ordered one Bell 412EPI, and the aircraft will be operated by their respective firefighting departments.

The EuroDASS consortium (Leonardo, Elettronica, Indra and Hensoldt), which provides the Defensive Aids Sub System (DASS) for the Eurofighter Typhoon, has launched its concept for the future of DASS, called “Praetorian Evolution”. The United Republic of Tanzania has signed a firm purchase agreement for a Dash 8-400 aircraft. The aircraft, which will be leased to and operated by Air Tanzania (The Wings of Kilimanjaro), will join three that are already in service and another previously ordered one, to increase the airline's fleet of Dash 8-400 aircraft to five. It will be delivered in a 78-seat, dual-lavatory configuration.
