On November 23, 2020, Davie delivered CCGS Jean Goodwill to the Canadian Coast Guard (CCG). As the first full conversion in the three-ship medium icebreaker program (MIB) designed to fill an operational gap for the CCG, the Jean Goodwill will now serve Canada with distinction out of her homeport in Dartmouth Nova Scotia, along with the CCGS Captain Molly Kool and the future CCGS Vincent Massey (once the latter have been fully converted to CCG specifications by Davie).

The report demonstrates that despite the short-term decline in the number of active pilots due to the impact of COVID-19, the civil aviation industry is expected to require more than 260,000 new pilots over the next decade. CAE's analysis shows that the fundamental factors influencing pilot demand prior to the COVID-19 outbreak remain unchanged. Age-based retirement and fleet growth were, and are expected to remain, the main drivers of pilot demand.

Under the terms of the new contract, exactEarth will provide its data services for an initial term of one-year and the Contract includes four six-month options that, if exercised by the Government of Canada, could extend the term by two more years.
