RaceRocks 3D Secures $3M in Funding from Raven Capital

RaceRocks 3D Inc., a Victoria-based training modernization company has secured an investment from Raven Capital – North America’s premier Indigenous venture capital fund.

RaceRocks CEO Anita Pawluk says the $3 million dollar investment will support the rapid growth of opportunities in the defence and aerospace sectors.

"As we evolve, our dedication to our values and cultural heritage deepens. We remain grounded in our roots, championing STEAM; Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics, initiatives among Indigenous Peoples and fortifying a resilient Indigenous defence supply chain. Our commitment extends to the expansion of our operations in Halifax, coupled with strategic investments in product development and cutting-edge technology,” said Pawluk.

“We’re excited to be partnering with Anita and the RaceRocks team. With an increased commitment from governments to procure from, and work with, Indigenous-owned businesses, there are tremendous impact and commercial opportunities for companies like RaceRocks, who are among the only Indigenous service providers in their vertical,” said Althea Wishloff (Gitxsan Nation), General Partner at Raven Capital. “RaceRocks’ dedication towards a user experience that puts the learner and workplace safety at the forefront will be one that will dominate in the edtech software space,” Wishloff continued.

Research and development is one area that will get a boost from this investment.
